Sponsored Posts: These posts are for experienced medical and managerial personnel. The posts focus on skill sharing with local staff and are primarily managerial roles as our local staff predominantly carry out the 'hands-on work'. For these positions some funding is possible for those with a real need. Applicants are encouraged to find their own sponsorship where ever possible.
Short Term Posts: Unlike the recruited positions which are ongoing, many of the short term volunteer placements are on projects as outlined by the Kolkata management. We also welcome enquiries from medical, managerial, fund raising and public relations professionals with a speciality. For this reason we particularly look for volunteers who are flexible and capable of working under their own initiative. We are also interested in other professionals with skills in journalism, video production, photography and handicraft designers. No funding assistance is available for these positions.
