Belgachia Clinic

Belgachia Clinic is situated in Raja Manindra Road, ward 3, borough 1, Calcutta. This outpatients’ clinic treats about 70 patients a day. The activities are as follows:

Diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis (DOTS) as per guidelines of Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) in partnership with the Calcutta District TB Control Society.

Providing treatment for multi-drug resistant TB excluded from RNTCP, cardiac, neurology and diabetic patients as well as treatment for other general conditions.

Provision of dressings for ulcers and wounds, physiotherapy, nutritional and other benefits, health education and counseling.

Acts as the base for the Outreach programme and training programmes for staff.
