We also have a sewing programme based at our Handicrafts Workshop at 19 Gokul Mitra Lane in North Kolkata, employing 36 workers, who are either ex-patients, widows, deserted, or have sick or unemployed husbands. They make clothes for our patients and school children using cloth from Canning or Tamuldah, and handicrafts for export.
